on using this paper properly! An online presence is a vital necessity for any business that hopes to maintain a competitive advantage. This applies to virtually any market, as
nearly all markets are represented on the web nowadays. Fortunately, this is an excellent time to branch into online sales because new technologies such as social networking have the potential
to attract visitors to the site without the substantial investments involved in traditional advertising. That said, the development of a company website is a complex multi-part process. This proposal will
outline the advantages to be gained by developing the website, and present a basic overview of the work structure and proposed delegation of responsibility. The project in question concerns the
development of a website for the organization which will act as a front-end for sales and product information. The idea behind the development of the website is that it will
naturally expand the recognition of the companys product line, thereby expanding customer base and sales without requiring the same kind of substantial investment that a physical expansion into a new
store or new facilities would entail (Huiling & Xin, 2008). The project on the whole will be divided into three major teams - the first will cover converting the organizations
sales inventory to a computer database for interfacing with the store, the second will handle sales through the website, tracking for trends and developing promotions, and the third will actually
develop the site and handle design and security concerns. Once the site is implemented, a marketing strategy utilizing social network and traditional channels will be enacted. This section of
