Because this is a dissertation, requiring the students input, this paper will  also introduce some ideas of how the student can perhaps present information in both a literature review and in general as well. For example, one of the factors well be  suggesting in supporting the hypothesis is to collect information from already existing companies. Needless to say, we dont have the surveys developed or information collected, but we can certainly provide  suggestions on how this is to be done and presented when it is received. The topic that will be covered involves  human resource management in the BPO industry of India, and whether a particular company can become an employer of choice. Ultimately, this will end up being a case study for  a particular company. Though we dont have the company or set-up, however, we can present the information and provide ways in which it can be constructed. Background  Business processing outsourcing centers (BPOs) have been a fast-growing industry among many countries, India, of course, being one of them. The concept that firms from  abroad can outsource more white-collar jobs to BPO companies in India has fast taken hold, with the result being that according to research provided by International Data Corporation in cooperation  with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry, employment in this sector is anticipated to grow at an average of 32 percent per year until 2007; and is expected to  reach half a million people at that time (Anonymous, 2003).
