    what they hope to accomplish with patients. This is due to the fact that they are not allowed the same amount of time with their patients as they had  ten years ago. In Pennsylvania the health insurance has gotten so costly that physicians are leaving the state in droves. Physicians from all over the United States  and the world, including from Iran, used to come to do special cases at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. No longer are they willing to do this because  of their perception of the health insurance in Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Medical Society 2001). DOCTORS IN IRAN Doctors in Iran in 2001 formed their own medical cooperative in an effort  to fight the rising prices of medical insurance. Their stance is to improve the reputation of the ethics of medicine as well as to "spread health awareness throughout the  country" (Doctors in Iran 2001, PG). Because doctors have not had any type of corporate board under which they could all unite, the decision was made to form their  own. This organization will help with legal expenses, insurance expenses, as well as to bring in doctors from other countries to help have as great an expanse of knowledge  as is possible. This will also help the Iranian doctors to "find work in the private sector" (2001, PG) if they so desire. With different cultures having different customs,  it is helpful for the medical profession to take these differences into consideration. The following, for instance, are just a few areas in which Iranian doctors will want to  familiarize themselves so that they may, in turn, do the best for their patients in making them comfortable.
