However, this is a bit simplistic when utilized in the context of a clinical practice, because a clinical psychologist does more than give advice. He or she assesses and  studies quite a few facets and a multitude of criteria which then factor into that advice and recommended course of action or intervention. But how does one arrive at such  a conclusion? Psychological assessments.
