situation with options The call center for a direct insurance company in southern England is experiencing human resource problems. The company has a high turnover rate, exit interviews reveal dissatisfaction
with pay. They are having difficulties recruiting and hiring new full-time employees. Employees express dissatisfaction with incentive bonus plan both in terms of the amount of the bonus and a
perceived lack of fairness. Another issue is that employees do not feel their managers are spending enough time with them conducting performance reviews. This call center is now under
a deadline. They either improve the human resource issues or the center will be outsourced to India. This is a dilemma because no matter what the center does, it will
not be less expansive than outsourcing to India. The managers have the opportunity to develop new policies and new procedures regarding the issues of concern. They already have the
