a different manner. In the following paper we first examine what it is about the chronicles that captivate so many readers. Following that we discuss the 5th book in the
series, "The Horse and His Boy," analyzing what this particular book possess which serves to captivate the reader. Chronicles of Narnia As mentioned, "The Chronicles of Narnia" are
books which present the reader with many elements that touch the reader. First and foremost, we find in the first book how there is a secret wardrobe in a house.
This wardrobe has a secret passage in the back that leads to a magical land. As a child, who would not wish to find such a magical wardrobe in a
rather dull and dismal life? In this land are animals that talk, evil witches which control people and animals, and most importantly, a lion who is the most kind and
